Welcome! The Social Studies Department Head for ABC Public Schools has asked our class to create a timeline for the Civil war and Reconstruction period (1850 - 1877) in American History. This timeline needs to be a comprehensive, visually appealing account of the key events that took place during this time in American. Our completed project will be laminated and displayed at the City Administration Building in the Main Council Room. It will be part of the larger timeline project entitled "Our Country: Beginning to the Present". It will be clearly visible at all City Council Meetings, as well as School Board Meetings, for public viewing. It will be chronologically linked between other timelines (prior to 1850 and following 1877) from other groups.
